Common Notarial Acts & Cost
The State of Texas Government Code Ann. § 406.024 sets out the maximum fees a Notary Public may charge for notary public services. But additional charges may apply based on other factors, like distance driven to signing location.
Acknowledgments
$1 per signature for each additional signature for the same signer.
Jurats & Oath/Affirmation
Copy Certification
Texas law states notaries can't certify recordable documents as a true copy. Notarization is done of your statement confirming documents are certified true copies.
Taking the depositions of witnesses
$0.50 per 100 words
Copies of all records and papers in the Notary Public's office, for each page

Note: We carry basic notarization forms for when one isn’t provided with the document to be notarized. However, Notaries are prohibited by law to help in preparing or choosing the documents for a signing. The decision of what type of notarization is needed is up to you.
